The 2010 Glamorgan Championships were held at Blandy-Jenkins Archers on the 18th July. Despite the inclement weather, the day went well with 5 new Glamorgan and 5 new Welsh records being claimed along with several Daffodil & Rose awards. Congratulations to all concerned! Our thanks to Janice Gregory (our local Assembly Member) for her continued support and for presenting the trophies & medals; and to Wales Archery Specialists for donating the target faces. Our next tournament is a World Record Status FITA on 29th May 2011. Watch out for the entry forms!
Blandy-Jenkins Archers meets at the "Welfare Hall" also known as Llanharan Recreation Ground in Llanharan.Our club night is on a Friday evening. We also meet from most Sunday afternoons and on a Monday evening for slightly more serious sessions. Indoors during the winter, or outdoors during the summer the venue is the same.
